- 2 sirloin steaks approximately 8 oz each, at least 1” thick
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Mix the seasonings together in a bowl. Season the steak on both sides.
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, trying not to overlap them.
Cook on 400° F for 8 minutes (for medium), flipping it once about 2/3 of the way through cooking. To achieve your desired degree of doneness, check the internal temperature of the meat throughout cooking. For rare, remove at 125˚F to 130˚F. For medium-rare, remove at 135˚F. For medium, remove at 140˚F.
When the appropriate internal temperature has been reached, transfer the steaks to a plate, tent with tin foil, and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
