Here’s a simple Egg, Ham, and Cheese Toast recipe you can make in an air fryer or oven:

Egg, Ham & Cheese Toast

Ingredients (for 2 toasts):

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or GF)
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for spreading)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Dried herbs or chili flakes (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

Air Fryer Method

  1. Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place a slice of ham on the bread, then cheese on top.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to gently press down the center of the bread to make a small well.
  4. Crack 1 egg into the well. Season with salt & pepper.
  5. Carefully place in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 6–8 minutes, until egg whites are set but yolk is still soft (or longer for firm yolk).
  7. Sprinkle herbs or chili flakes before serving.

Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Assemble as above and place on a baking tray.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the egg is cooked to your liking.

Tip: For extra crispiness, toast the bread lightly before assembling.
